| Details | The Austin/SA chapter will be having a Tech Day this coming Saturday starting at 10am. We have a special lunch planned. Stacey has prepared crawfish bisque. Yummy! Pete has graciously offered his house for the day. Thank you Pete!! If you are planning to attend, send me an email or PM for the address. We will not post the address on a public website, so please contact me. Pete has requested the following: 1) If you are doing wire work and want to secure it in wire loom please bring your own. I have plenty of wire, but am short on wire loom 2) If you want to do metal work, bring some flapper disk grinding wheels. I have both a 4 1/2" and 7" grinder. This is custom fab only. If we are welding stock stuff don't worry about it 3) I have a large assortment nuts and bolts, but very few grade 8. If you need help mounting something (i.e. bumper, skid plate etc.) please bring your own grade 8 4) If you are wiring lights, or other electrical components have your switches with. Solder gun, solder-less connectors I have. 5) Bring your beverage of choice. The house is off hwy 71, if you are coming from 620 North there is a new cut through off Lakeway Blvd through Rough Hollow that will save you 15 to 20 minutes.
